AARP Driver Safety 8-hour introductory course (this is a two-day class)

AARP Driver Safety classes are open to any driver age 50 or
older, and are now being taught at The Springs of Napa retirement community,
3460 Villa Lane. The course is a great way to refresh your driving skills, or
learn some new skills, and it will earn you a discount on your auto insurance
for up to three years, too. This eight-hour introductory course is taught as a
two-day class, beginning on Friday, August 30, and continuing on Saturday, August 31. Course hours will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break.
Students must attend both class sessions to complete the program. Lunch will be
provided for class participants, courtesy of The Springs of Napa. Reserve a
space by calling The Springs of Napa at (707) 224-7855. Enrollment limited to
25 students per class. The course fee is $12 for AARP members; $14 for
non-members. Pay at the class (cash or checks payable to AARP Driver Safety).
Please bring your California driver’s license and AARP membership card, if you
are an AARP member. A complimentary tour of the retirement facility is
available at the conclusion of the course.
