What's Open, Closed on Washington's Birthday

Schools, banks and post offices have the day off; retailers and restaurants are doing their usual thing.

Feb. 21, 2011 is the federal holiday generally called Presidents' Day, although according to Wikipedia its official name remains Washington's Birthday.

In Napa, the following are closed today:

  • Schools and offices in the
  • Post office windows
  • City offices and
  • Banks

Supermarkets, restaurants and retail shops are keeping regular hours, as is Napa Patch. Other businesses are open at the owners' discretion.
