Weather update: Rain should hold off till late Thursday -- then pour for days

From the National Weather Service.

We're getting a break from the rains today and tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts that storms will hold off until after 10 p.m. Thursday. After that, however, forecasters say we're in for a wet weekend with a rainy weather system that could last well into next week.Expect areas of low fog in the morning, dissipating after 10 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday, followed by partly sunny conditions with high temperatures in the upper 50s.

Wednesday night will be chilly, with the temperature expected to drop to 34 degrees.

Forecasters say the rain moving in Thursday night will stick around through the weekend and into next week and that rainfall may be particularly heavy at times on Saturday, with temperatures in the upper 50s by day and upper 40s by night.
