A fluffy black and white housecat with golden eyes, Stitch was badly wounded when he was taken to the shelter last year. Now he’s completely recovered and ready for a permanent home where he can run, play and purr.
Shelter staffer Angela Creech says Stitch has the mark of an excellent mouser, and would make a fine pet for the house or the barn: A home with a protected area where he can play on grass would be ideal.

Stitch is socialized to humans, thanks to the staff and volunteers at the animal shelter. You can meet him six days a week when the shelter opens its doors to the public at noon.
If you can’t take on a new pet, but would like to do something for Napa’s homeless animals, the shelter staff can match you up with volunteer opportunities – walking dogs, socializing cats and even helping other humans at the front desk.
