Napa Mother Arrested After Police Discover Her Passed Out Drunk

A 37-year-old Napa woman went to jail Tuesday after she allegedly became inebriated and unable to care for herself or her 8-year-old daughter.

Officers went to the home of Tracy Lynn Hooper, 37, of Napa, on the 2700 block of Pine Street and discovered that she was extremely intoxicated and unaware of her daughter’s whereabouts. Police learned about Hooper’s condition after receiving a call from someone who said that the girl called to say that her mother had passed out.

The person went to the home, found Hooper unconscious, took the daughter from the residence and called police according to a Napa Police log. Hooper was arrested on suspicion of willful cruelty to a child, violating her probation and violating a court agreement.
