Hwy 12 Lane Closures Begin Tonight

Crews will be paving and removing excavated soil in preparation for the widening of Highway 12 through Jameson Canyon between Napa and Solano counties, according to Caltrans. Reported by Bay City News Service.

 

Caltrans this week is scheduled to begin construction work on state Highway 12 that will require overnight lane closures in Napa and Solano
counties.

Crews will be paving and removing excavated soil in preparation for the widening of Highway 12 through Jameson Canyon, according to Caltrans.

Starting Tuesday at 10 p.m. and ending the next morning at 5 a.m., alternating lane closures will take place on Highway 12 between state Highway 29 and the Napa/Solano county line.

The alternating overnight closures will affect both directions of traffic each night through early Saturday morning, according to Caltrans.

The California Highway Patrol will be on hand to direct traffic, though motorists are advised to allow extra travel time in case of delays.
