Flash Flood Watch Wednesday

National Weather Service flood watch includes North Bay mountains.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flash flood watch for much of the Bay Area Wednesday from midnight through afternoon.

Storms are expected to bring rainfall rates as high as 3/4 of an inch per hour.

Areas for which the flash flood watch is in effect include the North Bay mountains, Point Reyes National Seashore, the San Francisco Bay shoreline, San Francisco Peninsula coast, East Bay interior valleys and the Santa Cruz mountains. See the full list here

Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions to the NWS, which also warns that another Pacific storm is on its way Thursday.
