Thanksgiving Dinner at Napa Valley Restaurants

Enjoy a sumptuous Thanksgiving meal cooked by Napa Valley chefs: Here are some local restaurants open this Thanksgiving Day, 2012.

To tired to cook? Relatives coming from out of town? Just the two of you for Thanksgiving? Last-minute change of plans?

“I  love Thanksgiving, but cooking a huge holiday meal just blows me away,” said Jan Houston of Napa. “Help, that’s what I need is help. I don’t want to do all the cooking, the mess, the clean up at my house. What can I do?”

If cooking Thanksgiving dinner is giving you the willies, too: Don’t panic, you're in the Napa Valley, where those who want to escape the kitchen on this traditional holiday have many choices.

“My family and I are going out for dinner this Thanksgiving,” said Carolyn Summer of American Canyon.

“I know the traditional Thanksgiving dinner is everyone gathered in the kitchen with the aromas of turkey, but that’s not the way it is with us,” Summer said.

Summer is not the only one who has opted to let someone else put on the chef’s hat and take charge of the Thanksgiving feast.

“I really love this holiday, but cooking for a big crowd or even a small one is not my thing,” said Kelly Gordon of Napa. “We’re having Thanksgiving at the Celadon. It’s the perfect answer to great holiday get together. The food is to die for, the best ever wines, I can leave the table and never worry about the dishes. How much better can that be?”

If upscale dining isn't your choice, Black Bear Diner on Soscol Avenue is there for those who can’t afford to break the bank for a turkey dinner.

The restaurant will be open from 6 a.m., to 8 p.m. Thanksgiving, serving the traditional Turkey Day meal at $10.99 for a small portion. For those with a more hearty appetite, the meal runs $12.99.

Why do the Hispanics need their own Chamber Of Commerce? Asians, African-Americans, Caucasians,Read More Indians, and all other races use the same Chamber Of Commerce in unity. The Hispanics are welcome to use it as well. Unless they're promoting their own race above others in the business community. Naw, they wouldn't do anything racist like that, would they?
