Blonde Bashes Beemer with Shovel

In downtown Napa Monday, passersby stared as a trim blonde woman smashed a brand-new shovel into the windshield of a BMW -- not once, but twice -- leaving a sizeable crater.

At around 1 p.m. Monday, as I was walking up Second Street toward the , I observed an unusual occurrence.

A thin blonde woman walked out of on Randolph Street with a brand-new, long-handled shovel.

She was holding the shovel by the end; it banged once in the road as she was crossing the street.

The woman then picked up her shovel and slammed it twice into the windshield of a BMW parked directly across from Zellers on Randolph Street, leaving a sizeable dent in the safety glass.

After her two whacks, she threw the shovel over the car into the parking lot, clapped her hands as if she were brushing the dust off them, and walked away.

The people around me who also witnessed this stared at each other, whispered something about never having seen something like that in Napa and went on their ways.
