Atlas Peak Wildfire Contained After Spreading from House Fire

A house fire spread to nearby vegetation on Atlas Peak Road near the Silverado Country Club outside of Napa Thursday evening, a fire dispatcher said.
The fire was reported shortly after 5:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of Atlas Peak Road, a Napa County fire engineer said.
The dispatcher said the blaze spread to about a quarter- to a half-acre of vegetation.

At 6:55 p.m., the Napa County Fire Department issued an alert saying the fire had been contained.
