Another Earthquake Rattles North Bay

The 3.7 magnitude shaker hit three miles south of Vallejo at 6:09 p.m., according to the USGS. By Bay City News Service.

Updated Feb. 16: A second quake at virtually the same location was reported at 9:13 a.m. Thursday morning.

A 3.7-magnitude earthquake shook an area in Solano County Wednesday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck at 6:09 p.m. with a depth of 5.8 miles.

The epicenter was located three miles south of Vallejo and about two miles northwest of Crockett in Contra Costa County, according to the USGS.

According to a post on the Napa Valley Register Facebook page, Register newsroom employees felt the shaking.
