Ann Trinca, documentary photographer, and J Kirk Feiereisen, owner of organic roastery Yo El Re' in Calistoga, have created a cozy, inspiring nest. Ann and J Kirk are both involved with the vibrant Napa art community, and each has had a portrait painted by an artist friend. The portraits hang beside a dresser adorned with a vintage typewriter (on which J Kirk taps out poetry), a vintage box camera, a bust sculpture and an Indonesan carving.
Their headboard is a piece of collapsed fence from the back yard. With so much creativity, this bedroom and this home inspire me to display collections of my own in new ways.
