Community Update

I think my last blog was about the Oat Hill Mine Trail in Calistoga and Martin Luther King. Just busy recruiting more volunteers, getting my daughter through high school graduation and opening a new County Regional Park - WWHATT??? Two daughters-8 years of school seems like cake compared to 4 years of opening a new park with miles of new trails, signs and soon to come composting toilet. On June 30 the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District will open Moore Creek Park to the public. MC Park plays an important role in the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council's 'GO NORTH' trail alignment in their plan to promote and sustain a 550 mile multi use trail on ridge lines around the Bay Area. After the ribbon cutting bikers and hikers are welcome to explore the trails with leaders or on their own. Please join us on June 30 at 1pm for some cake as we open Moore Creek Park for all to enjoy. Address is 2607 Chiles Pope Valley Road
