Bank of Marin Hires Experienced Commercial Lending Team in Napa

Bank of Marin has hired an experienced commercial lending team to build its business in Napa and Sonoma. Reporting to Ruth Edwards, Commercial Banking Regional Manager and based out of the Bank’s Napa office, the new team will focus on business lending, commercial real estate, and loans to wine-related businesses in Napa County and Sonoma Valley.

 Joining the Bank this week are Coreen Pinney, Margaret Hager, Ivanka Matijaca and Patricia Green.

Coreen Pinney of Napa has more than 30 years of commercial lending, consumer lending, and retail banking experience with Bank of America, Napa Valley Bank, Union Bank and Mechanics Bank. Most recently she has served as a Senior Relationship Manager in corporate lending. She also serves as the Executive Board President of the Cope Family Center in Napa, is a graduate of the Leadership Napa Valley program, and is an active community volunteer. Pinney has lived in Napa for more than 35 years with her husband and children.

Margaret Hager brings 19 years of experience in corporate banking in Napa Valley, most recently as a Senior Relationship Manager for a regional bank. Prior to that role, Hager spent 12 years with a community bank in Napa in consumer lending. Hager has lived most of her life in Napa Valley and was raised in the wine industry, growing up on her parent's vineyard ranch in the Chiles Valley area of Napa County. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Napa.

Originally from Croatia, Ivanka Matijaca has been a resident of Napa Valley for more than 30 years. She held various commercial loan positions at community banks in Napa before joining Mechanics Bank in 2000, where she rose to Senior Relationship Manager, managing large client portfolios focused on the wine industry, commercial real estate, and commercial construction.

Patricia Green has spent close to 30 years as a loan officer and underwriter with several financial institutions, including Napa Valley Bank, Bank of San Francisco, GE Commercial Finance, and Mechanics Bank. She grew up in the Napa Valley and currently lives in San Rafael.
