What should replace the old Salvation Army thrift store at 1326 Main St.?
According to its listing agent, Coldwell Banker Napa, the 14,374-square-foot space can be leased to one business or subdivided.
The price is listed as "negotiable;" the location, next door to the venerable Shackford's Kitchen Store and across the street from similarly old-school Normar Fabrics and the hot new wine bar 1313 Main, is ripe for transition.
Over a drink at 1313 Main last weekend, I asked our server what he thought should go into the space.
The young man didn't miss a beat: "Anything that's successful," he said, "whether it's a restaurant or a strip club."
Now it's your turn: What would you like to see replace the empty space at 1326 Main St.? Please tell us in the comments below.
