If you want to be among the first to buy the iPhone 5, you may want to situate yourself near a computer by 11:59 p.m. tonight because pre-orders begin at 12 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14 on the Apple store’s website.
Apple, Inc. (AAPL) debuted its latest smart phone Wednesday, featuring a 4-inch screen, which is 20 percent lighter and 18 percent thinner than its predecessor, the iPhone 4s.
Verizon will also begin sales at 12 a.m. PST Friday, and Sprint will begin sales at 12:01 a.m., according to their websites.
AT&T will also take pre-orders Friday but have not yet listed at what time.
Apple stores and the three carriers will also take orders in stores on Friday, Sept. 21.
