State Honors Napa Chamber with Award for Business Advocacy

Napa joins the San Rafael Chamber as the only Chambers of Commerce in the North Bay to be recognized with the CalChamber Presidents Circle Award.

State officials recently recognized the Napa Chamber of Commerce with an award for business advocacy, known as the CalChamber Presidents Circle Award.

The award, first presented in 2009, recognizes chambers for excellence in business advocacy and helping their members comply with California employment laws.

Of the more than 500 local Chambers of Commerce in California, just 23 were acknowledged with the award.

President’s Circle award recipients published vote records of their state legislators on key business issues, generated letters to state elected officials on issues of interest to members and participated in the state's product resale program, which allows chambers to purchase human resource compliance products at a discount and resell them to local businesses.
