"Restaurant Month" Offers Deals on Dining

January is traditionally a slow month for Napa restaurants, to the extent that some dining establishments limit their hours and till spring.

But many of the eateries remaining open are rallying behind a new campaign to bring diners through their doors: Restaurant Month, sponsored by the , offers special meals and deals through the end of January at participating businesses throughout the Napa Valley.

According to the Destination Council website, the following restaurants in Napa and Carneros are taking part in this month's promotion:

: Mention Napa Valley Restaurant Month when you arrive, and enjoy a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

: Try a flight of four tastes of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons for $20.00, with personal tasting notes from the restaurant's sommelier team. The flight selections change each week during January.

: A full rack of baby back ribs for $20.12.

: Three-course prix fixe dinner menu for $20.12 per person, Sunday thru Thursday.

: Posole Plate, made with rotisserie chicken and hominy, topped with cabbage slaw, salsa picante, chile-crusted chips and a lime slice, served with C Caesar salad and fresh made chips: $10.

: Sunday, Monday and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., $19.50 for any pizza with a bottle of Ca' Momi Napa Valley Rosso or Ca' Momi Napa Valley Bianco.

is creating special food and wine pairings each Wednesday.

is hosting a special winemaker's dinner Jan. 17.

has weekly three-course specials for $20.12.

offers weekly lunch and dinner specials, with wine, for $20.12.

has a $20.12 special for two on burgers and beers.

Farm, at the Carneros Inn, has a half-price wine list Wednesdays and a $20.12 (per person) special three-course dinner menu Thursdays.

is halving its prices on wines by the bottle at every meal this month.

At , it's Oyster Happy Hour any time you order the Napa Whites wine flight ($15), with a six-oyster limit at the happy-hour prices.

On Saturdays, has unlimited $1 oysters and $5 glasses of prosecco between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

is offering three guiso empanadas with dipping sauce for $2.50.

has a $15 three-course lunch special.

The Grill at Silverado offers specially-priced lunch and dinner menus.

at the has a complimentary cup of soup with any entree of $12 or more.
