"Restaurant Month" Specials Offered in the Napa Valley

January is the month to take advantage of dining deals at eateries in Napa, Yountville, Rutherford, St. Helena and Calistoga. Here's a list of restaurants offering specially-priced menus till Jan. 31.

January has traditionally been a slow time for restaurants and hotels: After months of holiday celebrations stretching from Halloween to New Year's Day, consumers tend to snap their wallets shut and retrench, with a wary eye toward tax season ahead.

To lure reluctant diners back to the table, many Napa Valley restaurants and inns are taking part in January-only "Restaurant Month" specials on food, drink and lodging.

According to the Visit Napa Valley website, more than 40 businesses are taking part in Restaurant Month. Look for meal deals that dip well below $10 a course for a specified two- or three-course menu, but be aware that tax and tips are not included. Also, many specials are not offered on weekends. Contact the restaurants directly for details and reservations.

Keri, I have heard from the tech people, and my instructions were to clear cache, erase cookies,Read More reboot, etc. All things having to do with my computer, not with the website. I get the same issues on two different computers at different homes as well as my iPad that is logged on anywhere. Pretty sure it is not on my end. There are far too many things that are a step down from previous site. Examples: Can't seperate paragraphs in comments, no "reply" option on comments makes it difficult to know who is responding to whom, itty-bitty profile avatars smaller than a pea, green on everything makes features less distinguishable, on and on.
