Report: NV Marriott Changes Hands

North Bay Business Journal reports that the $72 million purchase price equals about $261,000 per guest room for the hotel and spa on Solano Avenue.

An Illinois-based real estate group now owns the , according to a report in North Bay Business Journal.

In "Napa Valley Marriott acquired for $72 million," published online Sept. 1, 2011, staff reporter Dan Verel writes that

Inland American Lodging Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oak Brook, Ill.-based Inland American Real Estate, announced the acquisition late Wednesday just months after the 275-room Solano Ave. hotel underwent a $7.3 million renovation that included an upgrade of 85 concierge rooms.

The new owners are not changing the management company, Lighthouse Lodging LLC, that has managed the property since 2009, according to the Business Journal report, which calculated the purchase price for the hotel at "approximately $261,000 per key."
