Queen to Lay Off 55

The city's only hospital has given notice to 55 employees across all levels of employment and reduced the hours of 20 more, according to the Napa Valley Register.

The reported Wednesday afternoon that has issued 90-day layoff notices to 55 employees and reduced the hours of 20 more.

The hospital has been struggling to close an $8.3 million budget gap, according to the Register report.
