Oxbow Public Market in Napa has added new, family-friendly programming to Tuesday Locals’ Night starting Tuesday, Dec. 10.

On Tuesdays, all stores stay open until at least 8 p.m. for Locals’ Night.

In addition to the special offers from many of the market’s merchants, Oxbow Public Market, at 610 & 644 First St., will feature a rotating variety of local food trucks once a month in the middle parking lot between the main market building and Gott’s Roadside.

In addition to the food trucks, Oxblow will have musical entertainment and non-profit partners on special Tuesday evenings at the market.

On Tuesday, Dec. 10, guests will be treated to the sounds of Napa High School’s Vocal Music Workshop.

In addition, guests can learn more about the Napa Valley Give!Guide with Napa Valley CanDo, and enjoy additional food offerings from food trucks Mark’s the SpotCrossroad ChickenPhat Salads & Wraps and Dim Sum Charlie’s.

Beginning in January 2014, the food trucks will be present on the first Tuesday of the month.

“Oxbow Public Market has very much become the community gathering place we envisioned when we opened the market nearly six years ago,” stated Founder and CEO Steve Carlin. “We designed the market for locals, and are very happy to offer these additional special programs on Locals’ Night. It’s a great time to stop by the market to meet with family and friends.”

Oxbow Public Market is located in the historic Oxbow District of downtown Napa and has become the local gathering place for great food and wine in the Napa Valley.

The 40,000-square-foot marketplace, which includes an outdoor deck with seating along the Napa River, features a mix of local food vendors, artisan cafes and an organic produce outlet for local farms.

Oxbow Public Market is open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and until 6 p.m. on Sundays, with some businesses open earlier and some closing later. It is recommended you check hours with individual merchants.

On Tuesdays, all stores stay open until at least 8 p.m. for Locals’ Night.

Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas only, with reduced hours on some other holidays. For more information, please call 707-226-6529, or visit www.oxbowpublicmarket.com.
