Katie Hamilton Shaffer said Toolbox, which she founded in 2009, was acquired in November 2012.

Feast it Forward, her new venture, is set to launch later this fall, she said.

"I have a stellar team who are equally committed to living and promoting a philanthropic lifestyle and together we're making this childhood dream become a reality," Shaffer said.

"Ironically, my CEO Brook Altman is the former producer and brand expert who launched Martha Stewart Living, getting 10 Emmy nominations winning four Emmy Awards," Shaffer said.

" I was also lucky to bring on my good friend and social media maven Christine Trice as my Chief Marketing Officer, who launched the ever fabulous "OMG I so Need A Glass of Wine Or I’m Gonna Sell My Kids."
