After close to a decade in its south-facing location at the north end of , is planning a move to a 3,000-square-foot space across from the demonstration kitchen at the rear of .
The bookstore is expected to be in its new spot by September, according to Copperfield's Marketing and Events Director Vicki DeArmon.
DeArmon said the relocated Copperfield's is partnering with the supermarket for a series of cooking demonstrations by chef-authors using the Whole Foods teaching kitchen.
Cindy Pawlcyn of Upvalley restaurants Mustard's, Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen and Brassica is the first local chef who has agreed to appear, DeArmon said.
Asked what would replace the bookstore at its current location, DeArmon said she had heard rumor of a Pier One home furnishings store.
