Napa Chamber Endorses Candidates

The Napa Chamber of Commerce makes its endorsements for Napa mayor and city council, Napa County supervisor, U.S. congressman and state senator.

The Napa Chamber of Commerce board of directors has announced its endorsements for local and regional offices:

Napa City Council: Jim Krider, Alfredo Pedroza

Napa Mayor: Jill Techel

Napa County Supervisor District 2: Mark Van Gorder

State Senator District 5: Lois Wolk

U.S. Congressman, First District: Mike Thompson

"After careful review and considerable conversation, the Board voted for those candidates it believes will best serve the City of Napa by working to create jobs, improving our local economy, and dealing with the City's budget challenges," said Chris Messina, President and CEO, Napa Chamber of Commerce.

It's time to clean house an bring in some NEW ....Sorry I won't vote for any of those that destroyed Piner's to line their pockets

I find it ironic that the Chamber of Commerce would endorse people who are very business, like Thompson. For this reason only, I could not join the Chamber as they do not push to protect and promote businesses and to help people run and manage their businesses. Obviously some political payback going on here.
