'Jingle Bell Trot' Offers Carriage Rides in Downtown Napa

Hop into a horse-drawn carriage Saturday afternoon for a holiday ride through downtown Napa, where more than two dozen businesses are offering special deals, food, music and Christmas cheer.

Downtown Napa merchants have added another holiday celebration to the Christmas calendar with the 'Jingle Bell Trot,' Dec. 15.

From 3 to 7 p.m. at the intersection of First and Coombs streets, you can catch a horse-drawn carriage ride or stroll on your own two feet to enjoy holiday shopping and specials from more than two dozen local businesses.

According to the event announcement posted on Napa Valley Patch,

A $5/person suggested donation to Cope Family Center will get you on board for a delightful horse-drawn carriage ride through downtown First and Second Streets.

Jump in the carriage at Coombs & First Street and you and eleven other lucky passengers will enjoy the holiday lights, store-front decorations and the clip-clop of the horses that will literally take you back in time to the “good old days.”

This celebration is intended to be a festive open house, where you can meet the owners and employees of your downtown businesses face to face…and where more than 25 businesses on First Street in Napa will be spreading holiday cheer with offerings of free beverages, holiday treats, music and special offers for patrons and shoppers.

Participating merchants include:

Anette’s Chocolates * Artists of the Valley Gallery * The Beaded Nomad * Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream * Ceja * Inti * Miyamo * The Mustard Seed Clothing Co. * Napa Valley Jewelers * The Napa Valley Toy Co. * Quent Cordair Fine Art * Sala Salon * Shoes on First * Silver Sensations * Small World Restaurant * Sushi Mambo * Tarla Mediterranean Grill * The Playful Garden * Thomas Kinkade Gallery * The Shops at Napa Center * West End Napa * Wildcat Vintage Clothing * Williamson & Co. Keri, I have heard from the tech people, and my instructions were to clear cache, erase cookies,Read More reboot, etc. All things having to do with my computer, not with the website. I get the same issues on two different computers at different homes as well as my iPad that is logged on anywhere. Pretty sure it is not on my end. There are far too many things that are a step down from previous site. Examples: Can't seperate paragraphs in comments, no "reply" option on comments makes it difficult to know who is responding to whom, itty-bitty profile avatars smaller than a pea, green on everything makes features less distinguishable, on and on.
