UPDATE: Frozen Yogurt on the Freebie List Too

"Holidays" celebrated by some stores, restaurants.

UPDATE: Saturday, Feb. 2, 10 a.m.

A chain of frozen yogurt stores called  Yogurtland is celebrating National Frozen Yogurt Day on Monday.

The company is also promoting literacy and education with First Book for which Yogurtland hopes to raise $20,000 to provide more than 8,000 books to kids in need.

There are about 200 Yogurtland locations worldwide. Last year on National Frozen Yogurt Day, Yogurtland served more than 1.2 million free cups of yogurt.

ORIGINAL STORY, 5 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2.

You won't find Hallmark cards for National Pancake Day, but there are ways to celebrate the kind-of-made-up holidays in Napa Valley.

IHOP is giving away free pancakes on Tuesday to celebrate National Pancake Day.

The restaurant also is aiming to raise $3 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in celebration of the organization’s 30th anniversary, so the pancakes are free but the restaurant would like customers to make a charitable donation.

Stop by IHOP in Napa to celebrate, just be prepared for long lines.

... and for yogurt- when and where?
Robin Horton February 02, 2013 at 04:30 PM
This story is incomplete - it mentions free pancakes and frozen yogurt but doesn't talk about the yogurt

Hi Segway and Robin: The free frozen yogurt is at Yogurtland, which I don't see has an outlet in Napa, is that true? It should have been deleted from the headline. If anyone is interested in the yogurt part, I will add it to the story as an update, but I'm not seeing that there are any Yogurtlands around. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
