Bottle Rock Napa Valley: First Bands Named

The Black Keys, Primus and Cake are among 40 musical acts coming in May to the Napa Valley's first full-fledged rock festival, according to reports.

A new rock festival slated for Napa in May has announced some of the acts in a line-up that will have 40 bands performing between May 9 and May 12 at the Napa Valley Exposition.

Festival organizers have not responded to Patch's repeated requests for information, but a recent article in the Press Democrat lists the groups The Black Keys, Primus, The Shins, The Wallflowers, Alabama Shakes, The Flaming Lips, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Blues Traveler, Charlie Musselwhite, Ben Harper and Cake as among the initial acts confirmed for the Bottle Rock festival.

More will be announced in coming days, according to the Press Democrat article. The festival's website is bottlerocknapavalley.com.
