Bites Nearby: Cuvée

A perfect blend of cuisine and ambience.

, which means “blend,” offers a stand-out culinary experience that works on many levels. Located at the on Soscol Avenue, the restaurant serves up California cuisine sourced primarily from local farmers and wines from local vineyards.

While the grilled double cut pork chop creates a lot of buzz, the menus are eclectic and suited for a wide variety of palates. The spring menu features fresh garden flavors of California’s spring harvest, including local mushrooms and organic vegetables.

Cuvée is warm and inviting, and designed for versatility. There are two private dining rooms- one accommodates 16 diners and the other up to 50. A private courtyard with adjacent patios is ideal for larger parties.

If you’re not tempted yet, consider a couple of Cuvée’s specials. Every Thursday night all wines by the bottle are half off. On Wednesdays, the restaurant offers three courses for $33 per person.

Two happy hours daily, traditional and late, feature interesting menu items including yam frites, macaroni and cheese and “High Country” fried chicken.

Corrected: Earlier posted version named the wrong hotel. Cuvée is located at the River Terrace Inn on Soscol Avenue, and I'd like to add that its desserts are yummy.
