Bel Aire Mystery Solved: Chico's is Coming to Napa

Have you been wondering about the construction project by Villa Corona and Umpqua Bank in Bel Aire Plaza? Looks like it's going to be a Chico's clothing store, according to the Napa Valley Register; but likely not till 2013, a store manager says.

Updated 2:30 p.m.: A store manager at the Sonoma Chico's said Friday that the Napa store would likely not open until 2013.

North Napa's continues its upscale trajectory, according to the , which reports that the women's boutique chain Chico's is planning to open a shop in the plaza's southeast corner.

The storefront has been under construction for several months between and .

No date was given for the store opening and the Chico's website does not yet list Napa among its store locations, the closest of which currently is in Sonoma.

Also coming to Bel Aire: Pier One, expected to open in the spot once the bookstore relocates to its location later this year.
