Anette's Chocolates Plans Second Napa Factory

The south Napa facility will be more than double the size of Anette's downtown factory and store, according to the North Bay Business Journal.

 

How sweet it is: Napa confectioner is planning to expand with a second factory, according to a report in the North Bay Business Journal.

Anette Yazidi, co-owner with her brother Brent Madsen and his wife Mary Stornetta, tells the NBBJ's Jeff Quackenbush that the company is pursuing permits for a 15,000 square foot facility in Napa Valley Gateway Business Park.

The south Napa factory would be more than double the size of the existing on First Street in downtown Napa's West End, Quackenbush writes.

The company makes a wide variety of sweets including brittles, chocolate bars, chocolate syrups and truffles. At the West End location, customers can also order ice cream and coffee drinks.

According to the NBBJ report, the new factory will help meet the demand for product from Anette's growing wholesale business.
