Several passengers were injured in a two-car collision between a Volkswagen Jetta and a limosine sedan in St. Helena late afternoon Friday.
The accident occurred at Pratt Avenue and Silverado Trail, closing the roadway in both directions.
Traffic had to turn around and go through downtown St. Helena.
The CHP and St. Helena Police responded along with at least two ambulances, and St Helena Fire and Cal Fire St Helena units responded to the scene.
Victims including a dog were being attended to along the roadside and one woman was sitting in the back of another vehicle before being transported in an ambulance.
