Rep. Mike Thompson endorses Bill Dodd for State Assembly

Napa County Supervisor and 4th Assembly District candidate Bill Dodd today announced that long-time Congressman Mike Thompson (D-St. Helena) has endorsed his bid for State Assembly.

“Working closely with Bill Dodd for the past 15 years to solve big, difficult issues facing our community, I have repeatedly seen Bill rise to the occasion under difficult circumstances to deliver for our community,” said Congressman Thompson. “Along with his experience in business and public service, his tenacity, respect for other viewpoints, work ethic and ability to draw out the best in other people make him the most qualified and prepared candidate to represent us in the State Assembly.

“In addition to Bill and I sharing a lot of the same values and political philosophies, Bill is someone I can count on, someone whose handshake still means something,” Congressman Thompson continued. “I am proud to endorse him.”
