Lake County Leaders Endorse Dan Wolk for Assembly

Cite Wolk's Experience on Issues Facing Lake County's Future

Clearlake, CA — Davis Mayor Pro Tem Dan Wolk announced today that he has received the endorsement of three prominent Lake County leaders in his campaign for State Assembly: Lake County Superintendent of Schools Wally Holbrook and Clearlake City Councilmembers Denise Loustalot and Joey Luiz. The three leaders endorsed Wolk because of his experience on many of the most important issues facing Lake County, and his commitment to representing the people of Lake County in the Assembly.

“I believe Dan Wolk is the type of person we need to represent Clearlake and Lake County in Sacramento,” said Luiz. “Someone who will not put our issues and concerns on the back burner and will spend the time needed to know our community and its challenges.”

All three elected leaders are longtime Lake County residents who have worked to create a better future in the area. Holbrook was elected Superintendent of Schools in June 2010, and before that served as a district superintendent and principal in Lake County. Luiz was elected to the Clearlake City Council in 2010 and is a former mayor of Clearlake, he has worked in the Lake County wine industry and is currently the Executive Director of the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce. Loustalot is a third-generation Lake County resident who was elected to the Clearlake City Council in 2012; she and her husband are small business owners in Clearlake.
