FARRINGTON ENDORSES DODD FOR ASSEMBLY

NAPA, CA—Napa County Supervisor and 4th Assembly District candidate Bill Dodd today announced that Lake County Supervisor Anthony Farrington has endorsed his candidacy.

 

“As county supervisors, Anthony and I believe that effective and proven leadership is required to rebuild California and grow our state’s struggling economy,” Dodd said.  “I am deeply honored to have his support and his personal commitment to help me deliver for Lake County and the 4th District.”

Supervisor Farrington cited Dodd’s experience as a local small business owner, his reputation for solving community problems, and ability to bring people together as a Napa County Supervisor in his decision to endorse Dodd, including successes in boosting the local agriculture-based economy and leading the completion of major transportation projects, as well as his reputation for bringing people together.

“Bill will be a champion for Lake County in the state Legislature,” Farrington said.  “He’s delivered on creating jobs, preserving precious Ag land, securing water supplies, enhancing transportation, and a host of issues that we are confronted with here in Lake.“

 

Supervisor Farrington further stated, “Bill also knows our community in a personal way.  His Culligan Water business served Lake, which gives him invaluable insight into who we are and what we need to make Lake County a better place to live.”

 

Dodd is a Democrat from Napa County. After a successful 25-year business career, he has served four terms on the Napa County Board of Supervisors. The 4th Assembly District includes all of Napa and Lake Counties, and portions of Colusa, Solano, Sonoma and Yolo Counties.
