From her website:

Regina Carter invites us to a world of hypnotically beautiful African folk melodies. Lauded as one of the  finest  violinists of her generation, Carter captures both the essence and allure of the original music through a lens of contemporary interpretation.

Along with Carter, an accomplished improviser who first grabbed my attention when she joined the String Trio of New York 20 years ago, the Reverse Thread ensemble includes kora—the harp of West Africa—and accordion.

It should sound wonderful in the acoustically pristine Opera House performance hall, and I can't wait.

Would you like to be there, too? Opera House management has kindly offered us three pairs of tickets to give away.

All you need to do to win a pair of tickets is this: Be the first, third or fifth person to post, in the comments section below, this three-word phrase before 4 p.m.:

I'm Patched in!

Yes, we have Official Rules: Here they are.

Best of luck and I hope to see you tonight at the show!
