What's Up at Napa Town & Country Fair? All The Right Stuff -- and A Parade!

Parade starts 12 noon Sunday from 2nd and Seminary streets, downtown Napa.

Great weather and a slew of fun family activities points to a hugely successful weekend coming up at Napa Town & Country Fair.

The 83rd annual event is starting to attract crowds since it opened Wednesday -- and the weekend should draw thousands. The fair, which runs through Sunday, is at the Napa Valley Expo, 575 Third St., Napa.

Tonight's headliner is Clay Walker at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, Super Diamond, a Neil Diamond tribute band, plays at 5:30 and 9 p.m.

Sunday starts at noon with a parade through downtown Napa run by the Napa Active 20-30 Club.

The parade begins at Second and Seminary streets (lineup for the parade marchers is between 10 and 11:30 a.m.). Judges' viewing stand will be located at First and Coombs streets.

For more information on the parade, contact Tom Stopello at tstoppello@sbcglobal.net or call 707-337-0086.

Sunday's headliner band is Orquesta La Moderna Tradicion, which plays at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Latin dancing -- or any kind of dancing -- is invited and encouraged.
