Friday:

 In this award-winning, touching and funny film “Bag It”, we follow “everyman” Jeb as he embarks on a global tour to unravel the complexities of our plastic world. What starts as a film about plastic bags evolves into a wholesale investigation into plastic and its effect on our waterways, oceans, and our bodies.

If you go: This free film will be playing at  the , 1333 3rd St. in Napa.  This film runs from 7 -9 pm.   

Saturday:

Foundation is proud to present the 18th annual Reach for the Stars.  Hailed as one of Napa’s best celebrations of strength and survivorship, this year’s luncheon and fashion show and will benefit the Cancer Wellness Program at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. Proceeds from the event will go to the Queen’s Cancer Wellness Program.  The program’s goal is to guide and support cancer patients to become proactive cancer survivors by meeting the needs of their body, mind and spirit. Queen of the Valley Medical Center Foundation will also have available, for purchase, “stars” in honor, or remembrance, of those who have been touched by cancer. Tickets for Reach for the Stars are $80.00 per guest.  To purchase tickets for the event or to reserve a Star, please call Queen of the Valley Medical Center Foundation at 707- 257- 4044
If you go: is located at 875 Bordeaux Way in Napa. The event runs from 11-2 pm.

Sunday:

This benefit concert for Napa’s Sister City- Iwanuma, Japan features more than one hundred singers raising their voices in the finale of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. This musical extravaganza is presented with full orchestra, professional guest soloists and piano virtuosity on the new Steinway. Conducted by Dr. Roberto-Juan González with soloists Lisa van Stuijvenberg, Karen Carle Irwin, J. Raymond Meyers, Adam Paul Lau, Seth Montfort and Joseph Gold.
If you go: The concert takes place at Performing Arts Center,at 2277 Napa Vallejo Hwy, in Napa.  All seats are $20.00 and the program begins at 7:30pm.
