We're going contest crazy here at Napa Patch! Not only are we running our weekly  competition, in which you pick your favorites by voting, commenting and reviewing on our site—now we have a daily contest running through March 7.

The folks at  are bringing a series of comedy shows to the  this spring that focus on smart, "clean" material "for thinking adults who enjoy a night out, but still appreciate the environment of legitimate theatre."  

 performs March 7, in the Opera House's downstairs Café Theatre at 7 p.m., with Dhaya Lakshminarayanan opening; she is "a stand-up comic/solo performer/storyteller, television host, and ubergeek," according to the event listing, which says of Pace:

"Mike has entertained the troops on too many comedy tours to count in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Guam, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and stateside. He has also been seen on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiam, Showtime’s Comedy Club All Stars, TBS’s Very Funny Live, and ABC’s Comics Unleashed."
