RockNapa Returns for More Music, Food and Wine at Krug

Two-day party is Thursday and Friday at Krug Family Winery, St. Helena

RockNapa today confirmed that Robert Foley and Austin Pitzer -- winemakers by day but rock stars at night -- will again take the stage Thursday and Friday, August 15-16, at the RockNapa event being held on the grounds of the Charles Krug Winery.

The musicians performed last month at the first installment of RockNapa, the first outdoor concert series in decades for the historic St. Helena winery.

Chef Cindy Pawlcyn will round out the roster of local superstars, again serving up delectable dishes for VIP attendees.

Coinciding with the 44th anniversary of Woodstock, Thursday’s event features headliners Xceptional Woodstock and CSN&Y Tribute which include musicians who formerly performed with both Johnny Cash and Kenny Loggins. Grammy Award winning artists Blood, Sweat & Tears will perform Friday supported by Natisha Lyne and The Eve Selis Band.

RockNapa promises live music, fine wines, beers and food. Local crafts and drawings for Napa Valley wines and more will be available for purchase.

VIP Experience ticket holders will sample some of Napa Valley’s most coveted wines, from twelve producers including Charles Krug Winery, in the beautifully restored 132 year-old Carriage House.

Gates and on-site parking will open at 4 p.m. each day. Opening acts will take the stage at 4:30 p.m., with two stages providing constant entertainment until 10 p.m. Headlining acts will perform starting at 8:30 p.m.

General admission single and two-day tickets can be purchased at www.RockNapa.com/tickets/. For more information about the artists or to get involved, please contact Ray McKewon at ray.mckewon@xceptionalmusic.com.
