Friday, July 1:

Check out the recent work of Napa Valley photographers Juan Diaz and David Alosi, and Seattle photographer Kyle Witsil. Take a ride into the real and surreal territory these photographers explore through digital collage and manipulation techniques. Stay around for a drink, explore the art and delight in the music of the Napa Valley Ramblers.

If you go: This free reception is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Wildcat Loft, 1210 1st Street in Napa.

Friday:

The music keeps on coming! Get in the groove of the Hendrix experience with Purple Haze. Then there’s the reverb drenched, surf lovin’ Voltones, and honey-voiced Tom “Crash” Wilson. Bring a blanket, a picnic basket and enjoy the summer eve!

If you go: The music is from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Amphitheatre, 3rd Street and Main Street in Napa.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday:

This comic odyssey through the myths of American history in the guise of a lecture will have the Opera House amused and informed. Wuhl, best known for his title role as the sports super agent in HBO's Arliss and from his stand-up comedy and movies, brings our country and our culture into focus just in time for the 4th of July.

If you go: Tickets are $25-$30 and can be bought by clicking here. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m. while Sunday’s show begins at 4 p.m. at the Napa Valley Opera House, 1030 Main Street in Napa.

Saturday, July 2:

Following the unanimous standing ovation in early June, it's time for another Grand Night for Singers at the . The program tonight includes top-notch singers Angela & Michael Sokol, Diego Emir Garcia, Wendolyn Cooper, Melody Caspari, Teressa Byrne, and several other vocalists presenting everything from opera to Broadway.

If you go: Tickets are $15 and are available at the box office beginning at 6pm, with doors opening for General Seating at 6:30pm and the show starting at 7 p.m.  The is at 1711 Main Street in Napa. Complimentary tapas and wine served at intermission. 

Monday, July 4:

Come one and all to the 4th of July parade sponsored by the !  This year’s Grand Marshall is Napa’s very own Jim Roberts. After the parade, the festivities continue with beer and wine booths, jump houses, food booths, and live music. At 7:30 pm, there will be a special presentation of the Travis Air Force Band Color Guard singing the National Anthem, followed at dusk by spectacular fireworks.

If you go: The parade starts at 1 pm.; bring your low chairs,  blankets and pick a spot to take in the parade.  The route starts east on 2nd Street to Main and returns up 1st Street.
