Whether you were on a bike, walking, driving or sitting in a lawn chair, you had to find some good music and friendly people in downtown Napa during Sunday's Napa Porchfest 2013.

With the theme "Out of the Garages, Onto the Porches," the third annual event did just that with 80 bands in more than 40 venues through Alta Heights and Old Town Napa.

Some streets, like Oak and Franklin, were so full of bikers and walkers that cars had trouble getting through. The music went from 1 to 6 p.m.

"Welcome to Napa Porchfest 2013," organizer Thea Whitsell told the crowd at Napa City County Library parking lot. "Have fun, drink lots of water, use sunscreen -- and stay safe on the streets."
