Lucky Penny Productions Announces 2013-14 Season
2 big musicals will come to the Napa Valley Opera House.
Napa-based Lucky Penny Productions’ fifth season will feature four major stage productions in 2013-14.
The season will begin with “Monty Python’s Spamalot.” Produced by 6th Street Playhouse of Santa Rosa for a North Bay premiere August 23-September 22, this popular show will come to the Main Stage of the Napa Valley Opera House October 11-20, 2013, in association with Lucky Penny Productions.
In December, Lucky Penny teams up with Napa Valley Playhouse to co-produce “An 8 x 10 Holiday: A Festival of Ten Minute Plays.” This second annual short play event will bring eight original works to the stage. Following the popularity of the first “8 x 10” in 2012, the presentation will expand to three weekends, running December 6-22 at Napa Valley Playhouse.

Lucky Penny’s production of “Funny Girl” is now on stage at the Napa Valley Opera House through May 20. The 2013-13 season will conclude with David Lindsay-Abaire’s “Wonder of the World” July 12-28, a co-production with Napa Valley Playhouse.
