"The Groupies" Descend on Napa Valley for Arts in April

 In conjunction with Napa Valley Arts in April™, Baron Wolman, First Chief Photographer for Rolling Stone magazine, will be on hand to celebrate the opening of his new show, The Groupies, at The Markham Gallery at Markham Vineyards, located at 2812 St Helena Hwy. in St Helena.

Wolman will be at Markham Vineyards on Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. signing his latest book, Every Picture Tells a Story-Baron Wolman-The Rolling Stone Years. 

This new show is on display through June 30. Straight from its world premiere in London, this will be the United States premiere of The Groupies.

In addition Capturing the '60s rock culture through his camera’s lens, Wolman began to notice a new breed of concert-goers.

"These ladies weren’t just regular fans, they took it to a whole new level creating a style, a fashion, and a  chic subculture all their own...The Groupies!” Wolman says.
