SCIENTOPIA DISCOVERY CENTER OPEN PLAY

Where/When: 1785 Tanen St. Suite B, Napa, Saturday, 10-4 p.m.

Why Go: It's soooo time for some funLet the kiddos loose. They can  explore, invent, dabble in arts & crafts, play dress up, kick it with the trains. So much to do and a real  bonus on a rainy day (and until the rain ebbs we all need a place indoors to play).

Pricing: $10 first child, $8 siblings

KIDS COOKING WITH THE CULINARY DUDE

Where/When: , 3682 Bel Aire Plaza, Napa, Wednesday 4-6pm  

Why Go: Because the Culinary Dude is ready for an evening of cooking with the kids.  Comfort foods anyone? How about baked fried chicken? Mac and cheese? Or how about chocolate chip cookies? Sounds like a tasty evening. For kids ages 4-14.  

Pricing: $35.  Register here.

ACTIVE MINDS

Where/When: , 3299 Claremont Way, Suite 1, Thursday, 10-11am

Why Go: The weather is still a little soggy for the playground but your preschooler  needs some time out of the house. This hour includes circle time, art and music and of course, just plain ol’ fun.

NAPA BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB DAY CAMP DROP-IN

Where/When: , 1515 Pueblo Ave., Napa, Friday, March 25-Friday, April 1, 7:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Why Go: Maybe you haven’t found a camp. It’s almost break time; why not check this out for the day or the week. There are all kinds of daily themes: Birds and Bugs, Pajama Day, even a talent show.

Pricing:$10.00 a day or a Spring Break Special of $50 for 6 days (Spring Break special rate valid only if paid in advance or by Friday upon sign-in) (707) 255-8866 X 115.

ZUMBA CLASS WITH TOT TIME CHILDCARE

Where/When: Yountville Community Center, 6516 Washington Street, Yountville, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:00 am-10:00 am

Why Go: Because you need some “mom” time and you’ve been wanting to try Zumba.  Here’s your chance.  Take your kids and come on over (for 18 months and over).  You’ll get your hips moving while your kids play in the attached room. Everyone wins.

Pricing: Drop-Ins are welcome. Zumba class is $40 per month for unlimited classes and childcare is $5 per day with $1 more for each additional child in the same family. Sounds like a great deal. (707) 944-8712.
