Tulocay Cemetery Tour

Join Napa County Landmarks for its annual tour of Tulocay Cemetery, Napa’s Pioneer Cemetery. The tour begins at 10 AM at the new funeral home complex and will be led by cemetery historian, Nancy S. Brennan.  Step back in time, as we see graves of the early Chinese community.  During the tour, the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War will re-dedicate the grave of Mariano Vallejo’s younger brother, Salvador, whose land grants were in the Napa Valley.  This honors Salvador Vallejo’s service as an officer in the Union Army, during the Civil War. Also visit the newly discovered grave of the Titanic survivor. See the resting places of the famous and the forgotten, whose stories remind us of life, not so very long ago.   Local historian Nancy Brennan, the "Cemetery Lady," has been leading the Tulocay Cemetery Tour for the last 30 years.   The tour will meet at 9:30am for check-in at the new Funeral Home/Mausoleum in Tulocay Cemetery, 411 Coombsville Road.
