Public Readings of a Brand New Script from PlaywrightsReed Martin and Austin Tichenor

Acclaimed playwright/actors Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor are offering theater lovers the special opportunity to be directly involved in the creation of their outrageous new work, The Ultimate Christmas Show (Abridged), running from Sept. 23–Oct. 9, at the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center.

After an initial public reading (an I.P.R.?) on August 16, the duo are inviting the public back! On August 30 and September 13 at 7p.m., this irreverent and heartwarming play-in-progress will be read aloud, with some physicality, by the talented three-man cast.  After the reading, audience members are enthusiastically encouraged to share their thoughts and reactions to the new work with the playwrights. And it’s even free! No need for reservations, first-come-first-served.

Having attained tremendous success with their previous works, these authors of The Complete History of America (abridged), All The Great Books (abridged) and The Complete World of Sports (abridged) are offering people the rare chance to be part of theatrical history-in-the-making. This is a great time for folks  to laugh for a couple hours, put in their two cents, hobnob with world renowned artists and do it all for free. All-in-all, a great night of entertainment.
