Friday, October 12th through Sunday October 14th. Calistoga Art Center invites artists from near and far, to paint Downtown Calistoga and its surrounding countryside on Friday October 12th and Saturday October 13th. The plein air competition is open to artists of all skill-levels and mediums. For more information and how to enter, visit the CAC website below. This year, to celebrate our youngest artists, a "Petite PaintOut & Picnic" will be held at Pioneer Park on Saturday, October 13th, from 12pm-2pm. Families are invited to bring their own picnic while their children, ages 2-14, paint the playground, gazebo, clown-model, and other park subjects. Supplies and drawing boards will be available for a small cost, or bring your own supplies and easel. Visit the CAC website for more information. PaintOut! Awards/Art Show & Sale is Sunday October 14th, from 12pm-4pm. Come see the finished work and awards. The Art is available for purchase and a percentage of proceeds benefits the CAC. I get the same issues on two different computers at different homes as well as my iPad that is logged on anywhere. Pretty sure it is not on my end. There are far too many things that are a step down from previous site. Examples: Can't seperate paragraphs in comments, no "reply" option on comments makes it difficult to know who is responding to whom, itty-bitty profile avatars smaller than a pea, green on everything makes features less distinguishable, on and on.
