Light up the night with the Napa Hoopers - LED Hula Hoop Jam

Hula Hooping has come a long way since Wham-O in the 1950s. Modern hooping or hoopdance uses larger, heavier hoops than the child's toy and the size and weight of the hoop (or hoops!) affect the style of the hooper. Hooping is becoming known as an excellent form of low impact exercise for your entire body. On top of that it's FUN, just Try playing with one without smiling :)

Ever wonder what a 'hoop jam' is? It's a free and just-for-fun gathering of people who like hooping and want to share it with anyone who's interested! If you're brand new to hooping and just want to give it a try and bring a friend or family member for encouragement, this is a perfect setting. It's not a class, it's not a workshop, but it's a JAM where we can play, dance, explore and find joy in our hoops :)

Join the Napa Hoopers for our first LED Hoop Jam on Friday Feb 17 beginning at 6PM. This jam will be located at Veterans Park in Downtown Napa.

All levels welcome, extra practice hoops available. Friendly and helpful hoopers to practice and encourage you on your journey in hooping.

And as always we strongly encourage poi spinning, juggling, and other circus/flow arts. All types of LED toys are welcome! The more the merrier!
