How Sweet the Sound: Jane Siberry, Nina Gerber, Barbara Higbie, & Linda Tillery

Three extraordinary musicians come together as a trio tonight to deliver soul-stirring harmonies, stunning virtuosity, and ethereal originals, all served up with humor and sexy spirit.

Jane Siberry, the Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for such hits as “Calling All Angels”, culls from her extensive repertoire of music celebrated internationally for its innovative, elegant beauty. With a history of awards, film credits and recordings too numerous to mention, Jane dazzles in live performance. Interview Magazine called her “a superstar of the imagination with a passion for the truth.” 

Linda Tillery, leader of the renowned Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir, is one of the Bay Area’s most treasured performers. Grammy-nominated producer, cultural historian, arranger, and percussionist, she has sung and played drums on over 70 albums with artists like Kenny Loggins, Santana, Huey Lewis, Bobby McFerrin, Taj Mahal, and Sheila E. She takes vocals to new heights while showcasing her legendary mastery as a percussionist.
Barbara Higbie is a pianist, violinist, singer/songwriter and Grammy nominee known for her genre-bending compositions and unique improvisational ability. Her Live at Montreux recording with Darol Anger, Mike Marshall and Andy Narell remains a classic.  A longtime Windham Hill recording star, she has performed with everyone from Bonnie Raitt and Pete Seeger to Greg Brown, Bobby McFerrin and the Kronos Quartet.
